Cumulus has been making high quality specialist outdoor equipment for more than 12 years, and their sleeping bags have been used on many high altitude mountaineering expeditions in the Himalayas, Andes, Alps, Pamir and Atlas mountains. The FIRST EVER successful winter ascent of Shisha Pangma in January 2005 featured Cumulus sleeping bags at the 7800 metre camp.

With comfort temperatures ranging from +3°C to -40°C they are suitable for use in most countries under many different conditions.

Polish goose down insulation is generally acknowledged to be the best down in the World, whilst Pertex fabric, in turn, is generally said to be the best shell material for down-filled products. This combination has enabled us to create a range of sleeping bags which is lightweight and compact, yet very warm and comfortable, the ideal combination for backpacking, trecking and mountaineering.
